Yamir Marrero

Yamir originated from Puerto Rico


Yamir Marrero has dedicated most of her career to volleyball. She received a
scholarship to play volleyball for a prestigious university in Puerto Rico. After
graduating with a degree in Spanish, she signed a contract to play in the
'Puertorriquena' League for several years.

Coach Marrero developed her passion for
coaching by volunteering her time at volleyball clinics and providing free volleyball
lessons to youths.

In 2014, Yamir moved to the US and started coaching multiple
grade levels in a private club, where she developed great athletes. She has coached
for different schools', Volleyball National, varsity and JV Programs, winning multiple
championships.

Yamir is very passionate about coaching and is always willing to share
her passion for developing student-athletes. She is highly competitive and dedicated
to her craft.
