12 Local (H)

I am originally from Puerto Rico

I started playing club volleyball when I was 10 years old. I played both club volleyball and high school volleyball as a Libero. My focus was on defense, reading the game, and maintaining team morale. I pride myself on being recognized for passion, a positive attitude, my abilities and my leadership qualities on the court.

Post high school I was a multi-sport athlete playing on both the volleyball and judo teams at the University of Puerto Rico.

With over 14 years of coaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping young athletes develop a love for volleyball and achieve success in the sport. I've coached at TDL Volleyball Academy and Florida Gulfside Volleyball Academy, where I’ve had the opportunity to work with players of all skill levels, nurturing their talent and passion for the game. In partnership with my husband, Tito De Leon, we’ve run one of the most successful volleyball camps in Puerto Rico for the past 14 years, focusing on building both fundamental skills and the mental toughness that is needed to excel.

I coach to instill a love for the sport of volleyball, to show athletes not just how to play, but how to thrive through confidence, skill, and perseverance. Volleyball, for me, is more than just a game—it’s about creating a community where players can forge long-lasting friendships and learn life lessons that extend far beyond the court.
