I am originally from Puerto Rico and then later New York
Before I started playing volleyball, I was a successful basketball player. The skills I
learned in basketball, like agility and teamwork, helped me make the switch to
volleyball. I quickly picked up the game and developed strong skills, setting the stage
for my future in the sport.
I represented New York City College of Technology as a middle blocker. During my
collegiate career, I earned recognition as a standout player, ranking second in blocks
in our conference and first in our division for two consecutive years. My performance
was driven by a dedication to refining my technique, strategic thinking, and
contributing to my team’s success on both the offensive and defensive fronts.
I started coaching at Game Point in the 2023-24 season. I’ve had the opportunity to coach several age groups and levels of competition. As the head coach for the 14 Elite Black team, we reached a notable 9th-place finish at the Orlando AAU National Tournament. My previous coaching roles include leading the 15 Elite team and assisting the 14 State travel team, where I helped players compete at high levels and develop advanced skills. My coaching philosophy emphasizes
teamwork, discipline, and building confidence. I focus on teaching players not just the
technical aspects of volleyball but also the values of hard work, resilience, and
communication.
My professional career has been shaped by a passion for teaching the game and helping players
succeed both individually and as a team. I love coaching because it allows me to make a positive impact on
