YVONNE DEVLIN

Yvonne graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1979 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. While there, she participated in three National Championships in volleyball and two softball National Tournaments. Yvonne was voted MVP and nominated to the Metro Hall of Fame for outstanding contribution to athletic competition.  She played USABA volleyball for six years, and has officiated NAGWS, NCAA, and USVBA volleyball for 25 years.

A fixture within the Orlando volleyball community. 1996-2018, Snow was co-founder and Co-Director for the Orlando Volleyball Academy (OVA) later known as OTVA.  OVA had consistently ranked as one of the 10 best clubs nationally, winning numerous championships and producing hundreds of collegiate standouts.

1999, Devlin served as Tournament Director for the Amateur Athletic Union National Volleyball and the Sunshine State Games. Yvonne was the tournament director for the National Senior games held at Disney's Wide World of Sports for volleyball and badminton. Her work over the past several years in hosting girls' junior tournaments earned her the Best Tournament Host Award for the Florida Region in 2007.

 

Yvonne has been very active in building youth and adult volleyball in the Florida, serving as the commissioner for USA Volleyball Florida Region from 2001-2005 and the Junior Region Coordinator for girls volleyball from 2005-2008. Recently, Yvonne led her 13 Asics team to two National Championships (AAU and USAV) in 2011.

 2017 Devlin was appointed to the National Pickleball Chairman for the AAU. 

2020 Yvonne and Sindee launched Game Point Events. 

2021 Became the AAU Florida Volleyball Director. Florida, except Miami-Dade (official county name has been changed to Miami-Dade), Broward, that part of Hendry County West of Route 833 and Palm Beach Counties.

 

This was the start of Central Florida Pickleball in Florida and the first AAU National Pickleball Championships.

SINDEE SNOW

Sindee Snow graduated from Florida Southern College in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management.

Snow was a three-year letter winner at Florida Southern from 1980-82, and earned second team All-Sunshine State Conference honors. Snow helped lead the Moccasins to a 48-8 record and the SSC Championship.

 

1998-2000, Snow was the head coach of the Bishop Moore High School girls' volleyball team with an overall record of 89-10. 1999 and 2000, she led the Hornets to back-to-back state titles. 

 

2000 - 2014 was the Head Volleyball Coach at Rollins College

KIMBERLY VACH

Is a native Floridian born in Naples, Florida.  She attended Barron G. Collier High School where she received a D1 scholarship to play Volleyball for Stetson University.  She graduated college in 1987 and decided to move to the Orlando area where she landed her first teaching and volleyball coaching position.  Since coaching at the High School Varsity level, she has been in the FHSAA State Volleyball Final Four seven times.  In 2014 she was the 7A FHSAA State Runner-up, and then in 2015 she won the 8A FHSAA State Championship with Winter Springs High School.  That year she was awarded The Florida Dairy Farmer’s 8A Coach of the Year Award.  She has also been named Coach of the Year in her Conference eleven times. Over the years, Kim has collected 8 Conference Titles, 11 District Titles, and 5 FHSAA Regional Titles.  She was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013’ at Winter Springs High School.

While coaching Club Volleyball for OVA and OTVA, Kim has won three AAU Open Division National Titles in 2012’ 2013’ and 2015’.  In 2014’ she led her team to win the USAV National Open Title for OVA. She was also named the Florida Region of USA Volleyball 2014’ Outstanding Female Coach in the state of Florida.

 

Kim has three children.  Her oldest daughter Sydney played club volleyball for 15 years for OVA before committing to Harvard University.  At Harvard, she is in her senior year and is studying Mechanical Engineering. She hopes to be an astronaut. Her second daughter is Savannah.  Savannah played 14 years of club volleyball for OVA and OTVA before leaving early to forgo her 18’s season to attend the University of Miami.  At Miami she is a Finance major. Kim’s third child is her son Slater.  Slater took up volleyball at the age of 10 and is following in his sister Savannah’s footsteps as a setter.  He is currently playing for WPVC – 14 Armour and is coached by his mom.     

KEVIN LOPEZ

Kevin Lopez has been involved playing and coaching sports for 15 years . He started out playing for different volleyball clubs in Puerto Rico as a right side, outside and middle blocker. He had a scholarship throughout middle school and high school at “Academia La Milagrosa”.

upon moving to Florida, Kevin played at Olympia HS and Cypress Creek HS. Lopez also excelled as an Orlando Gold player, winning an AAU National Championship and being selected for the HP Florida Team in 2013.

He started his coaching career in 2013 with the Orlando Volleyball Academy (OVA). He coached for 8 seasons as either a head coach or assistant to coach at almost every age group. Kevin was an assisitan to the 2016 AAU 13u National Champions and in 2017 the 12u open National Champion Runner up.

In 2014 Lopez , was part of the Rollins College Volleyball program as a Volunteer Assistant Coach
